What is Operation Christmas Child?
It is a project designed to reach out to children around the world who may not have much, by sending them gift-filled shoeboxes and showing them a tangible expression of God’s love!
As we soon approach this holiday season, let’s take this opportunity to extend the blessings God has given to us throughout the year and give someone else the opportunity to feel loved. By a simple shoebox filled with gifts, a child from Columbia, Africa, Romania, or even the Philippines may be impacted in a way that we don’t expect. Many children throughout the years have changed by this act of kindness, knowing that somebody is thinking about them from across the world. They are so moved that they turn their lives over to God and have a faith that in turn, reaches out to others! These shoeboxes are just the beginning of the journey to show others God’s love.
On Nov. 19, join us as we pack shoeboxes for these children! Whether you are a kid, teen, adult, or senior, packing shoeboxes are for anybody and everybody! Sign up on our CFC Youth Bulletin Board or reply here that you are interested and want to attend!
